Case study: Market Street, Clay Cross
This 'green' development of 11 new affordable homes is located at Market Street in Clay Cross.
NCHA partnered with Pelham for the design, development and contract management services and Modus Partnerships for the build.
The design is in keeping with the local built environment, building on the positive characteristics of the area to provide a responsive and sustainable residential scheme. This gas-free development consists of 11 two bedroom houses and bungalows.
Funding from North East Derbyshire District Council has ensured that the housing meets an enhanced EPC A rating. With solar panels, under-floor heating, air-source heat pumps and high-end insulation, these homes will deliver both a low carbon footprint and help reduce energy costs for the new residents.
