David heads up our architect team. Following a degree in Building Surveying from De Montfort University in Leicester, he has spent the last 20 years in management roles within construction for retail, leisure and housing clients.

Mike Price
Head Architect
Mike leads our team of architects. He completed his RIBA Part 3 and a Diploma in Urban Design at Birmingham and Oxford before working in a private practice. For the last 20 years Mike has been an essential member of the Pelham team.

Joanne Hill
Head of Development
Joanne joined Pelham in 2022 with more than 30 years experience of working in development for the housing sector. Joanne now leads the service, providing a full range of development services to local authority and registered provider clients.
Fran Cropper
Development and New Business Manager
Fran has worked in housing and regeneration for over 15 years, in Nottingham and Manchester. She has a Post Grad in Management. Fran moved to NCHA in 2021 to continue her passion of delivering high quality, sustainable affordable housing.
Claudine Edwards
Development and New Business Manager
After obtaining a degree in Natural Science, Durham University, Claudine moved into project management. She has worked in social housing development for over 15 years, on a variety of projects from rural development to city regeneration both in London and in the East Midlands. Simon Henderson
Senior Architect
Simon is a fully qualified RIBA Architect and has extensive experience of housing design. He has many years experience in care home design as well as working for Pelham for over 20 years. He has particular expertise in rural housing design, especially in the Peak District National Park. He also has a great deal of experience in the design of general needs housing and private developments.
Barbara Stillman
Senior Architectural Technician
Barbara joined the NCHA design team in 2003 before it changed its name to Pelham. In her role as an architectural technician Barbara is involved in the design process from feasibility through to completion on site. This involves working closely with clients, architects, local authorities and contractors to deliver good, energy efficient homes.
Sridhar Linga
Senior Architectural Technician - Sustainability
Sridhar joined in 2006 with a degree in Architecture and masters in Architecture: Environmental Design of Buildings. He is also an authorised SAP and Overheating Risk assessor, so will work very closely with planners and building control to ensure we meet all environmental and energy requirements.
Darron Waldram
Senior Architectural Technician
Darron supports the architects with the technical aspects of building design. This can include liaising with local authority planning bodies, the building control department and main contractors to help schemes reach a successful conclusion.
Hannah Berry
Clerk of Works - Aftercare Surveyor
Hannah joined in 2020 with six years experience of working onsite with various private residential house builders. She feels at home managing the Clerk of Works on her own developments across the East Midlands. You will also find Hannah onsite meeting with residents discussing any aftercare/defects.
Helen Tyrell
Technical Administrator
Helen joined NCHA 20 years ago and has been with Pelham for 15 of those! She looks after the day to day tasks that occur in our busy department and is an essential member of the team. Helen will always be at the end of the phone or email if you need help.
Ian Soar
Clerk of Works
Ian has worked with us for over eight years. As Clerks of Work he travels across the East Midlands ensuring quality standards are met for our clients by inspecting the build at regular stages of construction. He is a registered structural/civil engineer and Fellow of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers.
Bill Pywell
Employers Agent
Bill joined NCHA in 2014 as Technical Officer in Property Services and moved to Pelham in 2017 as an Employers Agent. He has a wealth of expertise of working in the industry, specifically in social housing. You will find Bill out onsite working on various projects across the East Midlands.
